What do the two numbers in a method mean?
The first is how far the sun sits below the horizon at Fajr, the second at Isha. A larger number means earlier Fajr and later Isha.
Do these settings come from the bodies they are named after?
Not necessarily. We describe settings by their numbers. Where the code library names a preset after a body, we say so and publish how close it came to that body’s data on How we test.
Why isn’t my mosque’s method here?
