Your mosque’s timetable comes first. Times here are calculated.
What the starting setting is here
Places below 55° north start on “Seasonal minutes from sunrise and sunset (18° only if nearer)”. It’s a stated starting point, not a choice between sources, and no UK source we read is the same as another. From 55° north no starting setting is offered, so Glasgow and Edinburgh ask you to choose. Read why.
Across these places on 21 June 2027, Maghrib runs from 21:25 in London to 22:09 in Glasgow, by each place’s own clock. On the starting setting, the earliest Fajr of 2027 is 02:33 in Leeds, the furthest from the equator, and 02:56 in Cardiff, the nearest.
How UK timetables differ
The UK timetables we compared fall into two groups by their Fajr times. On 21 June 2027 the two groups’ settings are 85 to 102 minutes apart at Fajr, depending on the city.
One group prints a later Fajr that follows seasonal minutes from sunrise. The other keeps Fajr at 18° all year with an earlier Isha. In London on 21 June 2027, seasonal minutes give Fajr 02:43 and Isha 22:42; Fajr 18°, Isha 15° gives Fajr 01:02 and Isha 22:25. One setting can’t sit close to both groups, so we start on the first and let you switch.
| Timetable | Asr nearer | Days | Seasonal minutes | Fajr 18°, Isha 15° |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Reading Mosque | Hanafi | 243 | 0.1 min | 53.2 min |
| Harrow Central Mosque | Hanafi | 243 | 0.1 min | 49.2 min |
| Al-Baseera, Bristol | Shafi | 364 | 3.1 min | 40.3 min |
| Birmingham Central Mosque | Hanafi | 365 | 9.5 min | 47.3 min |
| Altrincham and Hale Muslim Association | Shafi | 275 | 11.3 min | 66.7 min |
| Glasgow Central Mosque | Shafi | 362 | 65.5 min | 7.5 min |
| Wifaqul Ulama (14 city PDFs; London shown) | Shafi | 365 | 42.5 min | 0.3 min |
Asr splits another way: 3 of these 7 print an Asr nearer the Hanafi time, which in London on 21 June 2027 is 18:40 against 17:25. Almost none of them states its method, so the groups above are what the numbers fit, not what each body says it follows. A gap of 0.1 minutes can mean a timetable is made with the same formula. Your mosque’s timetable comes first.

Questions
Why do prayer time sites differ?
They use different angles for Fajr and Isha, different Asr schools and different limits for short nights. Each city page shows the gap for that city.
Are these my mosque’s times?
No. They are calculated from the sun’s position, so your mosque’s timetable comes first. Use Match my mosque to see how close a setting comes.
Why does a place show a gap?
It means we haven’t opened that mosque’s own page or tested that source yet. We don’t copy mosque data or guess links, and links may change.
